Wahhhh! I had to take Cory back to college yesterday and miss him already! I had to this layout to make myself feel better!

I cut the pattern paper with my Cricut to get the deco edges. I inked the chipboard word time and covered the chipboard arrow with paper . . . I also used distress embossing powder on the brads to give them that dirty look. I journaled around the photos with words that describe him then and now . . . I feel better now!
Thanks for checking me out!

Made this card for Kel, she just got a dog - named him Elvis. He's a Boston Terrier and doesn't look like this card but this was cute anyway!

Thanks to Sandy for the loan of Paper Pups Cricut cart! Backed the window with vellum, just used random chipboard embellys and typed 'is in the building' on the inside! Let me know what you think!!
Thanks for checking it out!

It's been so bitter cold I had to scrap something that made feel all warm and fuzzy inside! This picture was from a while ago. Love the luxury of the digital pix! To have the ability to print and scrap to suite your mood!!! So easy!!

I used a couple of fun techniques . . . colored the chipboard swirl with ink then covered it glossy accents; used the lucite alphabets; made a puffy ribbon pom . . . not too much going on but bright and cheery enough to forget about the temps outside! Let me know what you think!

I had no idea what to get some people on my list so I had this idea, at the eleventh hour of course, to make them a box of cards that they could use. Not too novel but after moving all my stuff (and realizing how much I have) a lightbulb somehow went off and I thought, why not make gifts for the holidays! I'm so used to just admiring my purchases, afraid to let them go. Have you ever done that? Well, that's the motto for this year - let it go baby! And you know what? I really enjoyed making the few gifts that I was able to finish. I'm pledging to you here in cyber black and white to send cards for silly holidays and make gifts for no reason and actually give them away!!! After all, I get to keep the memory of the giving and that's what's important, not making sure I have all the Heidi Grace papers in the Vineyard collection! Here's a sample of a card that I made for a few quilting friends. I'm still working with my new camera so the pix isn't that great but you get the idea . . .
Supplies:
Cardstock - Stampin' Up (sorry don't have the color names memorized)
Pattern Paper - Melissa Francis
I just printed the sentiment on the computer . . .
It's hard to see in this photo but the card is sitting on the lucite box that they were all packaged in. Six cards with envelopes fit nicely, especially with all my layers and pop dots - I even put buttons on a few! Cindy would be so proud!

Yeah! I finally have my room finished, well about 90%!!! Still have some final details, some pictures to hang, etc then it'll be done and I can focus on catching up to my scrapping . . okay that sounds good, right? Can't scrap until my room is done?!?!? Works for me! Enjoy the pix for now . . .I'll add a few more later, when I am say 93% complete!! Is it ever really finished? That's like asking if we're ever really organized!
